Go on a colour hunt today and see what you can find! You could draw grass for green, daffodils for yellow and tree trunk for brown! What else can you find? You don't need to print the sheet, you can just draw on to a piece of paper or even collect different coloured items.
We will be writing letters next week when we are back at school. You can have a practice and write a letter to someone, how about your nan and grandad or an auntie or a friend. You can take a walk to the postbox and post it!
Carry on exploring measurement today including weighing, capacity and length or height. You can use your weighing scales to weigh different items, explore capacity with containers at bath time or outside in the garden and you could even get your ruler and do some more measuring!

It's baking day!! Today as part of your learning you will need to 'bake your book'! Don't forget to add a photo of your finished bake to Tapestry to be entered into the competition.
Today your task is based on speaking and listening. You will need to narrate as you bake your cake. You can film yourself and post it on Tapestry just like the children on 'My World Kitchen' on CBeebies. Watch an episode of the show on the link below. Can you talk clearly about the ingredients that you are using and how you are making the cake. Are you mixing, sieving, or weighing the ingredients?

Today you will be using your home made balance scales to compare and describe weight. Watch Mrs White's video discussing weight and the vocabulary we will be using, join in with predicting and discussing the weights of objects. Now find some objects around your house to weigh and compare using your balance scales. What object was the heaviest? Which object is the lightest?

Welcome to a brand new week. This week is our 'Woodland Bake-Off' in line with world book day on Thursday! We will be giving you time within the remote learning this week to make your cakes/biscuits that you have been planning, we are so excited to see your creations!

Today we will be finishing off our recipe writing. Watch Miss Carey-Smith continue writing her recipe and then finish yours off too!
Emerging: An adult could help by writing the first part of the sentence e.g. mix the.... and then you can have a go at sounding out and writing the word to finish the sentence.
Expected: Complete all the steps needed for your recipe and draw your picture of the cake/biscuit you are making. Are you able to read your recipe to an adult or sibling at home?
Exceeding: Complete your recipe. Can you add in a 'top tip' at the bottom?!
