Topic Information
This half term our topic 'The Wonderful World of Julia Donaldson' continues. The children have rwally been enjoying reading and learning based around these superb books. This half term we will be focussing on 'Charlie Cook's Favourite Book' and 'The Snail and the Whale'. The children have been working hard already and continue to make us proud each day! We have moved onto Phase 5 phonics and the children are very impressed with their phonic learning....They love learning the new digraphs. We will continue looking at Number and Place value within Maths, focusing on numbers to 50. In Science we will be carrying out lots of tests and experiments to do with Materials! Keep an eye on the Celebrations gallery where we will post the children's learning!
P.E.
Our P.E. days are on a Tuesday and Friday. We are not keeping any P.E. Kits in school, therefore children need to arrive in school on a Tuesday and a Friday wearing their P.E. kit. This can include tracksuit bottoms/leggings or shorts in warmer weather, a t-shirt, school jumper and trainers. Long hair needs to be tied back and earrings should not be worn. The children will stay in their P.E. kit all day ready to wear home and be washed ready for the following week.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
