Spring 1 topic! On the move!
This term we will be learning all about vehicles and transport! We will be using 'naughty bus' as our initial hook in this topic and will explore the different adventures that the book takes us on! The children we will be learning about vehicles in the past and comparing them to vehicles now, they will design and create their own vehicles and create their own magical journeys! We are so excited to follow the children's interests during this topic and see where the exciting learning takes us! We will continue to learn new sounds and will be starting phase 3 phonics. We will be learning to spot diagraphs in words, and reading simple sentences and captions. We will explore a range of fiction and non-fiction texts to support us in our learning. In maths we will be learning how to subtract and will learn new methods to help us add!
